Three former poker dealers are suing to get their tips. They claim their tips were taken from them by management. They are suing the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track in Florida. Kevin Bellington, Lisa Williams and Steven Gedday state that management forced dealers, who are paid less than minimum wage because they get tips, to pool their tips and share them with cashiers and managers who get paid at least minimum wage. The dealer’s lawyers drew a comparison to restaurants and stated that management has no legal right to be in a tip pool.
